20 years building infra.
7M+ users to show for it.
VP of Technology at Ualá México. Started in pentesting, moved to DevOps, joined Ualá on day one, and scaled it from a 6-month sprint to a regulated multi-country fintech serving 7M+ users on 200+ AWS accounts. Now deploying AI agents in production.

Experience
Where I've shipped things
Designing, building, and scaling infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients like Scripps Networks, Southwest Airlines, and WPP. Built monitoring systems, troubleshot production issues, and brought an infosec lens to every infrastructure decision — a combo that was rare at the time and turned out to be exactly what a fintech startup needed in 2016.
First time owning a security program rather than just executing on it. Covered the full spectrum — pentesting, server hardening, IDS and firewall deployment, and ongoing audits across servers and workstations. The role where defensive and offensive security clicked together as two sides of the same problem.
SAP security research for the AySA project, IT auditing for Warner Music, and development of security standards and checklists. First exposure to how large organisations think about (and budget for) security.
Where it all started. Network, web app, and wireless penetration testing. Security standards & checklists, hardening of critical systems, vulnerability management, firewall implementation. The kind of work that teaches you how things actually break — invaluable for building things that don't.
Projects
Things I've built on the side
Autek AI
AI Regulatory Audit Platform
AI-powered regulatory audit platform for Mexican financial institutions — SPEI/Banxico, PCI DSS, and custom frameworks. Includes a RAG chatbot over the regulatory corpus with citations, an auto-evaluation agent that reads evidence and proposes COMPLIANT/NON_COMPLIANT verdicts, and an SSH agent that connects to servers, network devices, and Kubernetes clusters to collect technical evidence automatically. Multi-team RBAC, evidence storage on S3.
Karla — AI Voice Agent
Voice AI for a Mexican logistics company
Production AI voice agent that calls (and receives calls from) truck drivers in colloquial Mexican Spanish to validate cargo trip data — confirming, updating, or registering trips via tool calls, and warm-transferring to a human at any point. Designed end-to-end: STT/LLM/TTS pipeline tuned to under 1.5s, FSM in Redis so calls survive worker restarts, and tool-arg pinning server-side to block prompt-injection of mutations. Built to scale to 200K calls/month at ~$0.020/call.
Clawdia & openclaw
Self-hosted Personal AI Infrastructure
A self-hosted personal AI stack on a single Hetzner VPS (~€15-25/month). A custom multi-agent gateway (openclaw) with per-workspace isolation, a pgvector-backed knowledge brain (gbrain) with hybrid RRF search and a nightly dream cycle that distills transcripts into structured pages, scheduled agent turns, and inbound voice calls — pick up the phone, dial Clawdia, talk to her like a normal call (SIP via Kamailio + rtpengine to ElevenLabs).
Timba 2027
Autonomous Agent · AI · Politics · X
An autonomous agent operating the @Timba2027 account — an experiment in agent autonomy, persona modeling, and rate-limited execution in the wild, at the intersection of LLMs, Argentine politics, and social media.
Maschitto
Property Management Platform
Full-stack platform for managing rental properties end-to-end — tenants, leases with PDF generation, bank sync, maintenance tickets created from inbound email (Svix-verified), and portfolio analytics. The interesting piece: an AI transaction classifier that learns patterns instead of re-calling the LLM — steady-state imports hit the model on maybe 10% of transactions; the rest are matched in Postgres. Live at maschitto.ar.
